KBDi Members and industry partners gathered in Sydney’s spectacular Museum of Contemporary Art on Saturday, 13 August, to celebrate the KBDi Designer Awards of 2022.
A stunning lineup of kitchens and bathrooms vied for State and National titles in the organisation’s fourteenth annual celebration.
One striking kitchen earned a Sydney designer two impressive titles. Helen Baumann (Helen Baumann Design) won the State title of KBDi Kitchen Designer of the Year 2022 – NSW, along with the highly coveted national award of KBDi Australian Certified Designer of the Year 2022.
The Northern Beaches-based designer was honoured to accept the industry group’s highest accolade. The Certified Designer Award acknowledges the entrant’s creative abilities and – with equal emphasis – their professional capacities in project documentation and specification. This exquisite design and its associated documentation deemed it a hands-down winner for the KBDi Certified category judging panel. The judges loved every element of this design. From the intelligent space planning to the elegant material and fitting selections, the panel were most impressed with the overall submission. They commended the designer on her faultless documentation and declared the entrant an exemplary representation of a KBDi Certified Designer.
The KBDi Australian Certified Designer Award was proudly sponsored by industry supplier, Wilson and Bradley. National Sales Manager, Vince Stoneman, attended the Gala event and extended his sincerest congratulations to this deserving designer.
